The American people need to know about the issues in the southern border of the United States. This was according to border intelligence expert Jaeson Jones, who has an extensive experience working there.
“They need to know what the problem is and see that this is part of the issue. This is exactly why I’m doing what I’m doing with Border 911, with the America Project, partnering with Tom Homan, working on Newsmax, doing these podcasts back-to-back, non-stop – because the American people don’t know what the problem is,” Jones told guest host Amber May during the April 25 episode of “America Unhinged” on Brighteon.TV.
“And the solutions that we need to get to, they can mandate that from their local, state and federal leaders who they have elected into office. So, we’ve got to illuminate this problem.”
According to Jones, the first thing the American people must fix is the drug overdose crisis affecting many American families. Jones said the weaponization of fentanyl has created new deadly strains of the drug, and major drug cartels are responsible for that. A retired captain from the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Intelligence and Counter Terrorism Division, Jones said that the U.S. needs to target the cartels and label them as foreign terrorist organizations. He added that the American government must go after the drug labs and take them down completely.
“We got to hit them hard and hit them more, and then make major adjustments because they are going from mega labs into micro labs right now. So, we have to ensure that these labs are hit. Attacking the supply capability in the labs must be mandated by the federal government, and America must continue hitting the labs or have a constant campaign all the way down to Colombia,” Jones said.
“Those are true solutions that will make a massive impact on transnational crime in this country. We make those changes. I will tell you right now somebody that has built programs to go after them. This is how we make major fixes.”
The border intel expert and keynote speaker noted that the cartels are now trying to do business out of Mexico. He also stressed the government must get a new system that will enable the American public to really know on a monthly basis what is happening regarding the crime trends in America.
“We’ve got 18,000 law enforcement agencies in this country. And I’ll say it again and again, if we can’t get the little things right, we’ll never get the big things right. Those are major milestones that are going to set us up for success,” Jones said.
Ultimately, Jones said America needs “hard solutions” to go after the cartels and “fix the problem that is fixable.”
